Dr Michael Reyes is a Sydney based Consultant Endocrinologist. He has clinical expertise in managing diabetes, pregnancy-related endocrine disorders, metabolic syndrome and obesity, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disorders as well as polycystic ovarian syndrome. His particular areas of interest are type 1 diabetes, insulin pump use, osteoporosis and bone metabolism disorders, pituitary disorders, and steroid-induced as well as pre- and post-transplant endocrinopathies.

He completed his Bachelor of Science and medical degree at the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas in Manila. He spent most of his career as a junior medical officer at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. He undertook Specialty training in Endocrinology at St. Vincent’s Hospital, The Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and St George Hospital, Kogarah. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Michael is a Staff Specialist in the Department of Endocrinology, St George Hospital. He is also a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
