Kwan Chung ACA PCFA
Kwan is a registered counsellor and is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. He has a strong interest in the connection between the physical and psychological well-being of the patients. By providing the necessary support and encouragement, patients can overcome their mental obstacles and improve on their health.
He has an in-depth understanding of the connection between those underlying issues affecting their mental health and is manifested to becoming health issues such as heart problems.
Kwan specialises in supporting patients to help them to alleviate their anxiety, fears and depressive symptoms. He has an in-depth understanding of underlying issues affecting their mental health, family and social relationship and work-related issues. Patients from all backgrounds including culturally diverse background are welcome.
By practicing a person-centred approach which is full of warmth, empathy, respect and without judgement, patients feel being supported on their journey to recovery and improving their mental health.
Kwan also provide support and counselling for pre and post-surgical operation to address their fears and behaviour changes after the surgery.
